Playboy model says police failed to investigate rape threat sent to her

A Playboy model and occasional London escort says police failed to investigate a chilling threat sent to her on Instagram, claiming she would be raped ‘like an animal’ if she took a DNA test to confirm she was the mother of a boy she claims was fathered by a famous British actor.

Jenny Carmicheal, 34, an aspiring model with more than 51,000 followers on Instagram, says she saw the message a day after she learned that the actor had gone to high court to prevent her from proving he is the father of her son.

Miss Carmicheal said she told the police she believed her Instagram account had been hacked, but officers then took down her profile.

‘I was scared because my social media had been deleted and I didn’t know who was the person or why,’ she said.

‘The police officers were very helpful and spoke to me in confidence but I think they didn’t do enough to follow it up because their time was very limited because there was another urgent crime.’

Miss Carmicheal says she reported the Instagram rape threat to police.

Miss Carmicheal said: ‘When the police were called, they took down my Instagram page so I couldn’t show it to people.

‘I told them I was sure someone had hacked my page because I’d deleted every picture and news feed.

But I wanted to make sure it wasn’t me.

‘The police never called me back and they never did anything further.

‘I haven’t seen the Instagram page or the perpetrator of the crime.

If there is an arrest in relation to rape or any serious crime then the police need to do something about it.’

The Instagram page that appears to have been used to send the rape threat has been taken down.

Jenny Carmicheal has now claimed the police failed to investigate a chilling threat sent to her on Instagram, claiming she would be raped ‘like an animal’ if she took a DNA test to confirm she was the mother of a boy she claims was fathered by the famous British actor.

The police and Facebook have been approached for comment.

Miss Carmicheal, who claims that the actor who is 59, is the father of her baby, last month appeared in court after he applied for a court order to stop her from taking a DNA test which would put him under the spotlight.

At Manchester Family Court, Miss Carmicheal insisted that she had an exclusive physical relationship with the actor.

Although the male actor has remained silent, his wife of 35 years, a former model denies his paternity.

The ex model has also requested a High Court judge at the case, which is due to go to trial in late November, to order her Facebook account to be sealed to stop people discovering she is involved.

Miss Carmicheal appeared at Manchester Family Court last month.

But the couple’s daughter, Amber, 21, believes that they are being made a ‘scapegoat’ by the male actor and will show in court that he has not been truthful.

Miss Carmicheal started a relationship with the father of her child after he performed at a celebrity event in London last Christmas.
